TOWN OF HILES ANNUAL MEETING
Tuesday, April 13, 2010
Hiles Town Hall
Annual meeting was called to order by Chairman Trent Miner at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Chairman Trent Miner, Supervisor Steve Meis, Clerk Janice Schultz
Motion by Supervisor Meis to dispense with the reading of the April 13, 2009, minutes and to approve as written. Seconded by Clerk Schultz. Motion carried
The 2009 Annual Financial Report was presented and reviewed. Moved by Supervisor Meis and seconded by Clerk Schultz to approve as presented. Motion carried.
The Chairman’s Report was read (see attached) and discussed.
Wages currently:
Chairman: $500 per year salary and $70 per diem
Supervisors: $70 per diem
Clerk: $3,500 per year salary
$35 per diem for non-town board meetings
Treasurer: $2,150 per year salary
$35 per diem for non-town board meetings
Assessor: $4,500 per year salary
Election Workers and Hand Labor: $9 per hour
Lawn Mowing and Chainsaw Work: $13 per hour
Motion by Supervisor Meis to keep all wages at current rates. Seconded by Clerk Schultz. Motion carried.
No other business was brought forward.
Motion by Supervisor Meis and seconded by Clerk Schultz to adjourn. Motion carried at 7:15 pm.
