Flood Damages – All roads are now open for traffic. Chairman Miner met with FEMA on Oct. 28th and Nov. 15th to make application for funding and to conduct site visits. Estimated cost of damage is $35,000.00. One bill received already for $12K for Wallace, Peterson, Palenico, and Weisner Roads. Boyer and Cary/Hiles Roads completed, just not billed out yet. Once that is done, then FEMA will come back and meet with Chairman Miner and do site inspections—2 or 3 more meetings with FEMA should complete the process. Wallace Road will stretch into 2011 because of blacktopping. FEMA money will come to the State and from the State to Town of Hiles. After final inspection of completed sites, FEMA will fund 75% of approved total damage; 12˝% will be paid by the State; 12˝ % to be paid by Town of Hiles.

TRIP Project – Bill received and will now go into the state for reimbursement. Bill to date is $94,933.67. Shouldering is not on this bill but will be reimbursed through Wood County’s 50/50 program.

Need to amend 2010 budget to cover expenses not foreseen at time of adoption. Motion by Supervisor Gardner and seconded by Supervisor Meis to move: $565 from Insurance, $643.66 from Sanitation, and $74,283.01 from Undesignated Fund Balance for a total of $75,491.67 to the following: $1,433.30 to General Government, $1,105.61 to Elections, $69,006.38 to Roads, and $3,946.38 to Town Hall.
